The royal family, particularly the late Princess Diana, are the key fascination of Kim Kardashian, which has reportedly now turned into an obsession.
Sources say the deceased royal’s amethyst pendant — which the SKIMS founder bought by outbidding multiple buyers — was proof of it.
“Kim’s fascination with the royal family has taken on a life of its own, it’s more than just casual interest. She’s totally obsessed with them, especially with Princess Diana,” the source shared.
“Kim’s been reading about Diana since she was a teenager, studying her life and legacy like it’s her own personal history book,” the tipster tattled to In Touch.
“She’s on a mission now to collect anything of Diana’s that comes up for auction.”
The beauty mogul bought the valuable item at 2023’s Sotheby’s London auction for the price of $197,453.
“This is a bold piece of jewelry by its size, color, and style, which cannot fail to make a vibrant statement — whether it be of faith or fashion, or indeed both,” Kristian Spofforth, Sotheby’s London’s head of jewelry, said.
“We are delighted that this piece has found a new lease of life within the hands of another globally famous name,” the statement added.
It is relevant to mention here Diana did not own the Attallah cross. Rather, it was lent to her by friend Naim Attalah.
